People have lost their sense of purpose, their natural ties with the world around them. Lokasenna i.o.c. celebrates the times when people still had aims to work for and a future to fight for. Their debut record is a reflection on the lost liaison with the natural world and a homage to nature (as the highest form of creation) and the Age Of The Workers.
Lokasenna i.o.c. dreams about the old days, a society in which Man was not only a passive consumer, mere vegetation, living without dreams and ideas to guide him. November Wind is a neo-romantic piece of work longing for past times but also showing the will to change the tides.
Lokasenna i.o.c. looks backwards AND into the future. The musicians take you away to make you consciousness about the world surrounding you and the power of Man to shape his own destiny. All of this is given shape in a wonderful post-industrial record. The sounds range from dark ambient dreamscapes to powerful anthems and classic dark folk music. Hand-screened sleeve with A5 coloured insert, limited to 248 copies.
