an inspirational film based on a true story. dennis quaid stars as jim
morris, a father, teacher and high school coach who thought his shining
moment had passed. playing baseball he damaged his shoulder and retired
but, in 1999, jim tells his feeble team as he makes a bet with them, that
if they won the championship they could try the major teams. their play
does not improve so he becomes one of older players in the major leagues...
